FAST Australia
We are thrilled that one of the goals of Mollys site has finally been realised. This is a huge acheivement for everyone involved, some really wonderful families (you know who you are) some dedicated, generous professionals and expecially FAST in the United States.
And so, the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics Australia (FAST Australia) is born! This National Foundation will raise awareness, spearhead research and actively participate in the search for a therapeutic to treat Angelman Syndrome (AS).
FAST Australia is a recognised Health Promotion Charity with Deductable Gift Recipient Status through the Australian Tax Office.
It the intention of FAST Australia to raise awareness into Angelman Syndrome in Australian within the general, medical and research communities enabling a better understanding of the syndrome. Through further education and advocacy we hope to encourage earlier diagnoses, reduce misdiagnosis and promote more appropriate therapies through networking.
FAST Australia is dedicated to pursuing every initiative that will advance the science and research of Angelman Syndrome.
